I've called many places home, but I'm a Californian at heart. I lived in the Bay Area for a decade before I moved to NYC in 2014. I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and challenge myself.

Why UX Matters to Me

I loved and still do love going to the movies alone. On weekends, I would spend whole days inside, hopping from movie to movie when I was a teen. Sci-fi is my favorite genre because it represents our collective imagination and what could be possible. I knew then I wanted to be involved with building the future. I’m still committed to building the future, but I want to build a fair and inclusive future. I believe technology should be used as a force of good in the world.

Growth.

I live for learning new things. I’m most excited by and afraid of the fact that I will never know all that there is to know about the world or myself.

Home.

I would miss the tiny details of daily living without my family. I'm in the front row to watch two young boys experience the world for the first time. Life, I’m learning, is really about the sum of all the details or small moments.
